Manny Pacquiao on the Ring Cover

Filipino boxing hero Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao has just added another feat into his sterling career as a boxer.  He is in the banner cover of the Ring magazine, acknowledged as the “Bible of Boxing” which has headline that reads “WHO NEEDS HEAVYWEIGHTS.”

Don Stradley authored the banner story with a catchy title “Pac-Mania Explodes Worldwide“.  Pacquiao is compared to the likes of Aaron Pryor and Roberto Duran and is considered as one of the most exciting and top fighters of the era.

“In fact, he might be the most exciting fighter working today.  It’s impossible to imagine Pacquiao conferring with trainer Freddie Roach and saying, ‘Let’s come up with a dull, safety-first strategy so I can just win on points.  I’ll enteretain the fans some other time.’  Hell no.  Manny Pacquiao wants to be Mr. Excitement all the time.  Even when he’s not at his best, he guarantees some thrills,”  wrote Stradley.

This report by this prestigious boxing medium is another confirmation of this postman’s oft repeated line–Manny Pacquiao is the Real Champ.   I wish they are going to release the magazine’s issue now, not in June or other later date.   For sure, it will sell like hot cakes because of the Pacman’s picture and feature.
