The 5th batch of delegates for the Encounter God Retreat (EGR) of the EGR Pangasinan Network had their taste of a godly encounter of the powerful kind last Friday and Saturday, July 27 & 28 at the Villa Narcisa Vinoya Resort in Labrador, Pangasinan.

There were a total of 34 delegates coming from Zambales, La Union and Pangasinan. They were immersed in a series of sessions and activities that had their spiritual lives turning to a closer relationship with God.

The EGR Pangasinan Network spearheaded by Rev. Charlie Loranza of the Solid Rock Bible Congregation has scheduled the next EGR on August 24 and 25, 2007 at the same venue.

If you are one willing to attend the next EGR, you should grab your chance in the August EGR. You should, however, undergo the pre-encounter phase. You may contact your pastor about the pre-encounter, or if your pastor is not yet aware of the pre-encounter, you may contact Pastor Charlie at 09203290415.

If you’ve gone to the EGR, you may share your experiences here. Click on the COMMENT button and share what God showered upon you in your EGR experience. Be careful not to share the messages and activities, however.

The Solid Rock Bible Congregation (SRBC) launches its two worship services every Sunday starting on July 22, 2007.

The Adult Worship Service is scheduled at 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Charlie Loranza spearheading. The Youth Worship Service is scheduled at 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Jessie Paragas taking on the role of a youth pastor .

The church leadership decided to split the adults and the young people after an evaluation of a congested worship hall several Sundays ago.

Also, in a rare visit to SRBC, FIFCOP Executive Director Rev. Raffy Panlilio advised head pastor Charlie Loranza to have a different schedule of worship service for the youth sector of the church in preparation for the harvest of the Project Conquest 300.

This project is FIFCOP’s challenge to all its member churches to register at least 300 young people members of each church by the year’s end.

Although the splitting of the two groups into two worship services would solve the space problem, the challenge to both groups is to create the same space problem later on which is a sign that the population of both groups is increasing.

Since the time the church embarked on its J12 Vision, the majority of the church’s membership have been showing active participation in the evangelistic programs.

To date there are around 50 young people and 70 adults regularly attending the Sunday worship service.

The Solid Rock Bible Congregation (SRBC) celebrated its 30th church anniversary yesterday at the Magtaking Auditorium in Magtaking, Bugallon, Pangasinan, Republic of the Philippines.

The celebration was capped by a message delivered by Rev. Louie Lopez on the theme, Be Fruitful and Multiply.  In his delivery, Rev. Lopez did an altar call for salvation.  There were six who came up the front and prayed the prayer of acceptance led by Rev. Lopez.

Furthermore, Rev. Lopez stressed to the more than 300 in attendance that they should desire not just to be faithful but to be fruitful as well.  He expressed his sadness that among today’s Christians, there are many who profess to be faithful but are not fruitful.

There were presentations by the various groups of SRBC members.  The adult group rendered a band and a choral presentation, the youth group presented an interpretative dance and a modern dance, and the children’s group wowed the audience with a tambourine number.

The 30th anniversary also officially launched in the church FIFCOP’s Conquest 300 challenge.  The FIFCOP is the Fellowship of Interdenpendent Fundamental Churches of the Philippines under which the SRBC is affiliated.  The Conquest 300 is the challenge of FIFCOP among its member churches to harvest 300 young people in the month of July.
