The unofficial Christian group in the University of Pangasinan called Christian Clique is already gearing up for an Encounter Weekend which is scheduled on October 17 & 18, 2008.

Supposed to be a 3-day Encounter, this October Encounter has been compressed for two days to give room for the students to go home especially those who are from places far from Dagupan City.  It’s actually to be conducted to cater students of different schools but those who will come from the University of Pangasinan are already anxiously awaiting for the event.

The venue for the Encounter is not yet finalized but it is definitely in Dagupan City.  There are an estimated 50 students who will go through the Encounter.  They are actually having their pre-encounter lessons in their weekly meetings.  They will come from at least three schools, the University of Pangasinan (UoP), Pangasinan State University (PSU) and Colegio de Dagupan (CdD).

If you are a Christian, we request you to pray for God to move mightily in the lives of the students who will go to the Encounter.  We also request that you pray for God’s provisions and the venue.  We thank and appreciate your partnership in this endeavor.
