This is a rather late post but just the same, it is to the delight of The Postman to tell everyone that there was a December EGR which hosted 88 delegates from Zambales, La Union and Pangasinan.
The December EGR which was not actually in the schedule was held last December 21 & 22, 2007 at the Villa Narcisa Vinoya Resort in Labrador, Pangasinan.
It was thru a strong request that the December EGR was held. The next EGR is tentatively scheduled on February. Specific days are still withheld at the moment because there is a proposal to make the EGR a 3-day activity.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and may God make 2008 a year of breakthroughs, triumphs, blessings and hope.

The Solid Rock Bible Congregation (SRBC) and the EGR Pangasinan Network sent their first batch of delegates to the Re-encounter God Retreat last December 7 & 8, 2007 at the Grace Testament Church (GTC) in Caloocan City.
The 12 delegates joined more than 50 other delegates from various parts of Luzon.
The Re-encounter is a curricular requirement of the PEPSOL of the G12 system for church multiplication. Specifically, the Re-encounter is required to those who already finished SOL 2. The 2-day retreat rekindled the fire which the delegates experienced in the EGR.
If the EGR was great, I can say that the RER (re-encounter) is even more wonderful. I encourage every EGR baby to go on to the PEPSOL curriculum and go through the RER.

I was in the middle of a class and one of my students was about to do a singing activity when the building started to shake a little and it took me a couple of seconds more before I shouted to the class that there was an earthquake.
Everybody panicked but I told them to stay in the room. We were in the fourth floor of a building. I was afraid there might be a stampede along the stairs so I insisted that everybody stay in the room.
When the temblor subsided, I ordered the class to go down as fast as they could. According to initial reports, the quake was magnitude 6 and had its epicenter in Pangasinan.
This temblor brings to memory the July 16, 1990 earthquake which brought Dagupan City down to one of the worst hit cities.
The panic caused by the quake aggravated the fear of many in Luzon after two typhoons ravaged the island and leaving lives and properties terribly affected.
Let us all pray to God that the people will be able to bear the trauma caused by these natural calamities. Pray also that people will learn something from these experiences. God is probably sending a clear message to everyone.

The 9th Encounter God Retreat of the EGR Pangasinan Network welcomed 64 delegates from Zambales, Pangasinan and La Union.
They were immersed into a two-day incubation with the presence of God through messages and activities that fired up their dormant spirits.
The 64 delegates will not forget the dates November 23 & 24, 2007 and the Villa Narcisa Vinoya Resort in Labrador, Pangasinan.
In a related news, the EGR Pangasinan Network decided to hold a December EGR after strong requests were given to the staff. The December EGR is tentatively scheduled on December 21 & 22, the same venue.

The Solid Rock Bible Congregation (SRBC) has just graduated 11 brethren for its G12 Vision PEPSOL. The graduates were confirmed last November 4, 2007 at the SRBC compound in Samat, Bugallon, Pangasinan.
Conferring the graduates with the Diploma in the School of Leaders was Rev. Francisco Alvarado of the Jesus Christ Saves Global Outreach (JCSGO), himself a graduate of PEPSOL and is now an overseer of hundreds of cell groups in the fold of the JCSGO in Manila.
The SRBC’s first batch of PEPSOL graduates are:

October 26 & 27, 2007 are days that will be forever etched in the minds and hearts of 104 delegates in the 8th Encounter God Retreat (EGR) of the EGR Pangasinan Network.
The delegates went through a two-day incubation with the Spirit of God and with brethren at the Villa Narcisa Vinoya Resort in Labrador, Pangasinan.
The 8th batch is the biggest delegation so far. The delegates come from the provinces of Pangasinan, La Union and Zambales.
The next EGR is already set on November 23-24, 2007 at the same venue.

The 8th Encounter God Retreat of the EGR Pangasinan Network is on again this coming October 26-27, 2007 at the Villa Narcisa Vinoya Resort, Labrador, Pangasinan.
Close to 100 delegates from Zambales, La Union and Pangasinan are expected to troop to the venue to have themselves incubate in the presence of God for two eventful days.

The Solid Rock Bible Congregation (SRBC) based at 151 Samat, Bugallon, Pangasinan has been dreaming of opening a ministry in Pangasinan’s premiere city, Dagupan City.
During the pastorate of Rev. Jun Panlilio, the church embarked on realizing the dream but due to some unavoidable factors, the dream was not realized.
Now, with the G12 Vision of Solid Rock, that dream is currently brewing to its realization. To date, there are three cell groups currently operating in the City, two at the University of Pangasinan and one at the Colegio de Dagupan (formerly Computronix College).
In the University of Pangasinan, the two cell groups are both homogeneous, one for females and the other one for males. In the Colegio de Dagupan, the cell group is heterogeneous but will soon be split into homogeneous cell groups.
The cells in U-Pang had their first step already at harvest and will soon consolidate a number of other potential cell groups possibly in the next two weeks. By the start of second semester, the groups shall have been regularly meeting in a miniature church. The possible location is an apartment near the Nepo Mall.
Dear brethren, kindly include in your prayers this vision of a daughter church of the SRBC in Dagupan City.

There were a total of 77 delegates coming from La Union, Zambales and Pangasinan who comprised the 7th batch of the Encounter God Retreat (EGR) last September 27 & 28, 2007 at the Villa Narcisa Vinoya Resort, Labrador, Pangasinan
This is also the batch the batch that drew the most number of pastors. The pastors expressed their desire to send more delegates in the next EGR.
The next EGR is set on October 26 & 27, 2007 at the same venue.
